When I was renovating my kitchen recently I realized that the kitchen stools I was using were over 20 years old, something I hadn’t thought about as I used them daily to hold me steady as I munched on my breakfast. I was actually planning to used them once the renovation was complete but when I thought about how old they were I decided to treat the family and myself to a new set. I mean, if you are redecorating a room there is no point in reinstalling your stools that are over two decades old under your new breakfast bar, is there?
So I started my research to find something that would be suitable for the colors and style of my new kitchen and I quickly realized that the world of home bar stools has changed dramatically since I was last looking for such a thing. I feel like when I bought the last set that there really wasn’t any choice, all you could get were simple wooden stools and if you didn’t like it that was too bad. Maybe my memory is failing me and I’m mistake but that’s the way it seems.
